Anita Hill is Professor of Social Policy, Law, and Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies at Brandeis University. She also chairs the Commission on Sexual Harassment and Advancing Equality in the Workplace. Her public testimony in front of the Senate Judiciary Committee prior to Clarence Thomas’ Supreme Court appointment in 1991 began a national conversation about sexual inequality and harassment, and her lecture will offer historical context and commentary.
